Interchange Language Institute is a small, private, language school established in 1972. English and Spanish are taught exclusively as foreign languages. Translating / interpreting services are also available in these two languages only. The school is situated in a quiet residential suburb on the south coast of the island, easily accessible by bus.

HOURS
Classes are of a duration of three (3) hours from 9 a.m. - 12 noon OR 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, unless otherwise arranged. Classes are limited to six (6) students only.
REPORTS & CERTIFICATES
Reports and attestations are issued on a termly basis and / or at the end of a course. Examinations are not obligatory, however, only students sitting and passing the final written and oral examinations may receive a certificate which is duly legalized. Examinations available are: TOEFL and INTERCHANGE.

THE ACADEMIC YEAR'S COURSE (Sept. to July) - US$6,000 (three terms)
The academic year's course (9 months) of English offers a comprehensive knowledge of the language. This course is divided into three (3) terms. The ultimate aim is for the student to experience a true Interchange of ideas, a sharing of knowledge and an understanding of the language and culture. Students should be High School graduates or 18 years of age.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE RECEIVED THREE (3) MONTHS IN ADVANCE:
- six (6) photographs
- application form
- bank reference in English
- notarized photocopy of passport. Notarization must be translated into English.

- FULL PAYMENT FOR DESIRED COURSE
Three terms: US$6,000 · Two terms: US$4,400 · One term: US$2,350

THE SUMMER COURSE (month of July) - US$2,500
This course of four (4) weeks is an informal, though intensive study, ensuring an elementary foundation enabling the beginner to read, write and comprehend in a limited manner. Intermediate and Advanced students will find a refreshing stimulus added to their knowledge of the language. This course is popular with teenagers and young adults. Students are eligible from fourteen(14) years of age.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE RECEIVED BEFORE 30th April of the corresponding year:
- two (2) photographs
- application form
- full payment of US$2,500 (includes: course, registration and accommodation fees)
BUSINESS COURSES
English/Spanish - Details given upon request.
PRIVATE TUITION
US$40 per hour. Personalized individual attention.
ACCOMMODATION - US$1,000 monthly
The Institute undertakes to find suitable accommodation for students in approved private homes, personally selected by the director. Students, regardless of age or sex, are not permitted to reside elsewhere without the director's permission. Three meals a day and laundry are included.
